- Have you ever finished a course knowing exactly what you would keep and what you would change the next time, but when the course came around again, you had to start all over?
- Or have you had a burning question about why one lesson worked really well while other lessons didn’t, but had no way to figure out an answer?
- Maybe you revamped a course, but didn’t have a way to evaluate the new learning results compared to the old version?
If you answered yes to any of the above, then this session on Course Portfolios is for you!
In this session you will learn about the different functions and benefits of a course portfolio; how to put one together; what making one can mean for your own professional development; and how a course portfolio can feed your scholarly interests.
Join us to learn more and start a course portfolio of your own. Participants in the session will have the opportunity for ongoing consultation and review of course portfolios by Centre staff throughout the year.
*Course Portfolios are part of VIU’s Recognition of Achievements in Teaching and Learning Program. See details at Recognition Website.
