The goal of the Dogsafe Canine First Aid course is to give you the necessary tools and training to respond to an emergency with your dog. We will cover everything from recognizing the signs of illness and injury to CPR, bone and joint injuries, deadly bleeding, vital signs, wound care, drowning, poisoning, choking, and much more. This is a comprehensive course that comes with a detailed take-home manual for each student. Our training tools include canine resuscitation manikins, plush dogs, bandages, splints, fake guts and eyeballs, and a real dog for practice.
